Now you probably have never heard of Rabbi Eliezer Berland but once you know his name and google him it is like puncturing a particularly nasty abscess for the first time: the vileness just keeps spraying out and by god is it disgusting.
So, not a lot different from your average American evangelical-christian televangelist then ... nor from various other religious-sect leaders around the world ...
Maybe not in terms of percentages, but how about Robert Morris & The Gateway Church, James Bakker, Ravi Zacharias, Bill Hybels & Willow Creek, Jimmy Swaggart, Bishop Eddie Long, Ted Haggart, Lonnie Latham, Earl Paulk, Tony Alamo, George Rekers, TB Joshua ... (as an evangelical-christianity-survivor I have a particular disgust for this type of behaviour from people in positions of trust and 'spiritual' leadership. One might expect it from Trump et al, but not pastors - but you know the common element? Love of Money, & Power over the weaker and more vulnerable via psychological manipulation).
Your experiences have left you with a very specific focus on christian evangelicals. I'm sure many of them do behave this way (unfortunately religions attract these kinds of people), but it seems to me that jews punch above their weight when it comes to child molesters.
Only an anti-Semite could distrust a face like that.
I actually think it is fairly funny what the guy has got away because it is just so outright ludicrous!

No, this is not typical of American televangelists.

Fair point - I stand corrected.
