Rabbi Shmuley Boteach is well-known to anyone who has studied pro-Israel networks of influence in the United States. He is the author of such literary masterpieces as ‘Shalom in the Home’ and ‘Kosher Sex’ as well as also being a prolific defender of Israel in the US’ ‘conservative’ media and in more recent years for screeching for the genocide of non-jews who oppose Israel and jewish power in the United States.
Casting our minds back to Tuesday 25th April 2017; Boteach took and published selfies with then senior Trump adviser Steve Bannon, which included one in which the pair are in front of a whiteboard with a hand-written ‘to do’ list on it.
This just so happened to be Steve Bannon’s policy agenda for the Trump Administration and as such Boteach’s self-important (or even possibly deliberate) carelessness – as well as to an extent Bannon’s – revealed many policies: some known, some not to the world and Trump’s many opponents. (1)
This had consequences since it has provided opponents evidence of Trump’s push to crush the resistance of so-called ‘sanctuary cities’ to immigration legislation by removing their federal subsidies with a legal loophole to defend themselves. (2)
The fact is that Rabbi Boteach – through his own rabid self-promotion and ego – helped sabotage Steve Bannon and a saner agenda for America in 2017.
