Hoax Alert: The Special Needs Swastika (2023)
An interesting case of a so-called ‘hate crime’ comes from Las Vegas, Nevada in the form of a non-verbal jewish autistic boy having a ‘swastika carved on his back’ on 9th March 2023 at Clark High School.
COL Live gives a representative narrative of the situation as follows:
‘A young Jewish boy with special needs was recently the victim of a shocking suspected hate crime at his public school in the Las Vegas area.
The visibly Jewish 17-year-old is on the autistic spectrum, and is a student at Clark High School, where he attends regular classes and has a full-time shadow to assist him.
The teen, who is nonverbal and attends school with a service dog, returned home on March 9th with a Swastika carved on his back, his mother, who wishes to remain anonymous, told COLlive.com.
“My son is the only student I know of who wears a Kippah at the school,” his mother said. She said she noticed her son’s shocking injury that evening.
The boy’s mother said that she notified the school about the injury by email that night, but was told by her son’s shadow that “nothing happened at school,” she relates. The mother also discovered her son’s service dog’s equipment bag had been broken and resewn.
The following Monday, March 13th, the family filed a report with the Clark County School District Police.
The distressed mother says that the school does not allow video cameras in classrooms, locker rooms or bathrooms, so there is no video of the alleged incident. She says she has pulled her son out of the school “because it’s an unsafe environment.”
The FBI is currently investigating the incident as a suspected hate crime, YNet news reported.
The Israeli-American Council (IAC) recently reported an increase in the number of complaints from Israeli-American students regarding antisemitic incidents in schools throughout the United States.’ (1)
To summarise the claim, we can state as follows:
1) The autistic jewish boy goes to Clark High School on 9th March 2023 with his service dog and a kippah on.
2) Said autistic jewish boy comes home on 9th March 2023 with ‘a swastika carved on his back’.
3) The autistic jewish boy’s shadow/aide stated to the jewish mother that nothing had happened in an email when questioned.
4) The service dog’s equipment bag was afterwards discovered by the jewish mother to have allegedly been ‘broken and resewn’.
5) There is no video footage of the alleged ‘swastika carving’ nor of the service dog’s equipment bag being broken and/or resewn due to the lack of video cameras inside the school which is a school policy.
Now we’ve done all that let’s look at the facts shall we?
The first thing to note is the claim that ‘a swastika was carved’ on the boy’s back. Helpfully a photo documenting the alleged ‘carved swastika’ has been provided by the mother and COL Live.
This is the ‘carved swastika’ concerned:
Now granted it could be a bad attempt to trace a swastika into someone’s skin, but I rather doubt it.
You see having locked at several different versions of this photo you’ll notice that the ‘swastika’ is completely missing the hooks at the top and bottom where-as the hook on the right is fainter than the hook on the left.
It is interesting that the jewish mother and assorted other jewish groups are shrieking at how this is a ‘swastika’ when it actually more closely resembles the divisional logo of the 2nd Waffen SS division ‘Das Reich’:
They have immediately jumped to the swastika explanation even though it is clear that what they are looking at it likely isn’t a swastika at all and if it is then it is a very poorly drawn one.
The more likely explanations are - for example - that the autistic jewish boy accidentally scraped himself upon something sharp and/or that those marks were inadvertently made by the claws of his service dog in order to draw his attention to something.
The idea that they are a swastika that was ‘carved’ in his skin is ludicrous and due to the lack of inside CCTV within Clark High School and his shadow/aide denying anything happened. Then it makes an even stronger negative case that this is just a histrionic jewish mother seeing things and using them to attack the school for – in her opinion - not providing enough support for her son.
Add to that the sudden and to my knowledge unproven claim that the service dog’s equipment bag was ‘broken and resewn’ – which is clearly an attempt to buttress her charges against the school - and that this was done at school (who apparently had a sewing kit handy) then it suggests that this is more a mother versus school scenario rather than an ‘anti-Semitic hate crime’.
This is further indicated by the coverage in the ‘Independent’ which explains the jewish mother is now working with Brooke Goldstein of ‘The Lawfare Project’ (which basically sues non-jews on behalf of upset jews claiming ‘anti-Semitism’ and/or ‘discrimination’) and has launched a lawsuit on the following basis:
‘Attorneys for his family claim that he did not receive the special education support he was entitled to under federal and state regulations. Court records state that an aid was supposed to be by his side the entire day, including when the attack occurred.’ (2)
So basically, the jewish mother is suing Clark High School not about the alleged ‘anti-Semitic attack’ but because she alleges that a shadow/aide wasn’t present by his side ‘the whole day’ and this is what ‘allowed’ the attack to happen.
In other words: they’ve moved from trying to ‘prove’ an attack happened – which they clearly can’t – to suing Clark High School because they allegedly didn’t provide a shadow/aide to be by the jewish student’s side the whole day.
In other words: the ‘carved swastika’ is but a tool for the jewish mother to sue Clark High School over their alleged lack of correct provision of educational support ad supervision for her son and this is a means to an end rather than an ‘anti-Semitic hate crime’.
