Fake Holocaust Survivors: Ann Strauss
Continuing on with my series looking at the narrative spun by so-called ‘Holocaust Survivors’ we have Ann Strauss of New Jersey who passed away recently.
To wit:
‘Strauss was born in Nuremberg, Germany, where her father owned a sawmill, and often summered on the family property in Bavaria. Active in the Jewish youth movement, she regularly attended a “liberal” (known today as Reform) synagogue with her parents. With the passing of the Nuremberg laws in 1935, which stripped Jews of their rights and prohibited Jewish children from attending school with non-Jewish peers, the community established a boarding school that Strauss attended, where she learned both academics and agriculture. For a time, she also studied to become a seamstress, as her parents wanted her to have skills that would grant her entry into other countries. Strauss’ years in the agricultural school were “formative,” her daughter said, and she remained in contact with her classmates until she passed away.
Strauss’ school was raided during Kristallnacht (Strauss was not there) in 1938, after which her grandfather and great-grandmother were taken to Buchenwald. The family was able to purchase their release, and soon after, Strauss and her parents immigrated to London, England, to be near relatives in Coventry. While in Germany, Strauss had considered pursuing a career as a doctor, but with her education interrupted, she opted to attend nursing school in London.’ (1)
So, in other words Strauss’ grandparents were arrested in the aftermath of Kristallnacht on 9th-10th December 1938 and interned in Buchenwald and their children then purchased their release and then emigrated to London, England from Germany. Put another way Strauss and her family left Germany circa four years before the so-called ‘Holocaust’ was even decided on in the jewish narrative of the event.
So then how on earth is Strauss a ‘Holocaust Survivor’ at all as all she survived was a voluntary journey to another country and she was never even arrested let alone put in a concentration camp.
